First peoples in danger

iceberg

First or native peoples are in danger, their survival is threatened. The Cultural Space Rennes Les Champs-free , which I have already spoken, devotes a new photo exhibition dedicated this time to the Inuit.
What is commonly referred to progress in our civilization has been a dangerous poison to these people. In a few decades lifestyle was totally upset, plunging them into chaos.

These free men who lived in harmony with nature, respecting it, found themselves locked in ugly buildings, discovering unemployment and its attendant misery. The days that stretch slowly in the most total idleness see them falling into the alcohol .
Their life expectancy is barely 63 years ago as deaths by suicide or accident.

Photographer Peter Valombreuse sets right now and until June of beautiful pictures in black and white. His pictures are believed to be realistic yet imbued with hope. Is this the result of these halos of light, the clear dark?
As he himself said at the inauguration of the exhibition, the photographic evidence and mobilization they create provide hope for these people and for the survival of our planet.

If you have the opportunity to come to the Champs do not miss this free exhibition is free. It is a continuation of other exhibitions of the artist on the theme of Men roots.

it is an excellent photographer who captures with accuracy and dignity ... The Inuit are not the only Native Americans ... have suffered the same fate!
